How do I get registered as a candidate?
The first step in the registration process is emailing us your resume. Once we receive your resume, an Account Executive will review it. If your resume shows that you are a qualified candidate, we will contact you to schedule an interview.
Why do I have to email my resume?
Emailing your resume is the first step in registering with us and it is how we store your information in our database. We are aware that not everyone has access to email and we recommend the use of any Public Library, as their services are free of charge.
Do you require testing at the time of registration?
A majority of our candidates are required to take a typing test. The test is two mintues or less. Depending on the position and our clients requirements, further testing may be necessary. We will inform you of that at the time of the interview.
What areas do you service?
We service Spokane and the surrounding areas, as far as Colfax, as well as North Idaho.
Is there a fee for your service?
There is no fee to a candidate applying at Aspen Personnel Service, Inc. The services that we provide our clients; testing, screening, reference checking, qualifying, etc... are paid by the company hiring.
As a current candidate, how often should I expect to hear from you?
Once you are registered with us, you are an active candidate for a period of up to 6 months or until you find employment. For that 6 month period, we are actively matching you on job orders as they come in. If you do not hear from us, you are either not a match for that position or you are not the most qualified of all candidates for that position.
How often do I get paid while temping through Aspen?
We issues temp checks on a weekly basis. Checks are mailed out every Thurday for the prior week.
When are time cards due?
Time cards are due no later than Monday at noon. If you are unable to get your time card to us by Monday at noon, we will issue you a check the following week. If you are unable to mail or drop off your timecard, you may fax it to us at 509-483-0140.
